Fire Shutters – Security and Fire Protection in One Place
Schools in the Midlands and South get D&D Fire Shutters and Fire Protection Doors
D and D Roller Shutters has been out installing multiple fire rated shutters as part of one of our on going contracts with a group of schools in the Midlands and the South.
They feature 1 hour fire resistance, operated by KeySwitch (so only staff may operate them), Powder coated finish in white RAL 9016, Audio Visual control panel which provides controlled/delayed decent and audio visual warning in the event of a fire, when the shutter comes down automatically of the fire alarm.

Fire Shutters for Schools, Restaurants, Bars and Nursing Homes
These fire shutters are a must have for School kitchens, Restaurants, Bars and Nursing homes where there is commercial cooking equipment in the kitchen and a public area on the other side of the kitchen servers. In this application the Fire officer from your local authority will insist on a fire shutter to stop the spread of fire from the kitchen to the rest of the building.
The systems installed also features a battery back up system. This allows the shutter to continue working in the event of a power cut, meaning a Fire shutter is a reliable fire protection measure for any public building.
D&D's Fire Rated Roller shutter with a 1 Hour integrity rating fitted over a school kitchen servery near to Newcastle.
