Just before the Xmas break D and D Roller Shutters was busy fitting 8x 2 Hour Fire rated Fire Doors on the new Terminal 1 arrivals car park at Manchester airport.
We worked with Architects to discuss the requirements of the installation and the preferred door type to match with the Aesthetic.
Our Fire Doors have been tested and rated at 4 hours, preventing the spread of fire to other areas of the building and providing a safe means of evacuation.
Steel Fire Doors for Maximum Protection
We worked with Architects to discuss the requirements of the door and installation requirements. They put in the steel frame openings and we fitted the doors between them.
4 Hour Acrylic Intumescent fire sealant was used to seal around the doors.
It was also a special request to have no bottom Thresholds on the doors to allow suit cases to seamlessly pull through the doors.
